Education
According to international human rights law, primary education shall be compulsory and free of charge. Secondary and higher education shall be made progressively free of charge.
Protection
The POCSO Act was enacted to address sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of minors. The Act holds that a child is any person below the age of 18 years.
Health
Whereas the right to health can be regarded as part of human rights and applicable to all, children constitute the most neglected segment having been denied adequate health care.
